Horny goat weed, also known as fairy wings with the scientific name of epimedium, one of the literally named substances of all history, has a funny story behind it. Back in ancient times, Chinese farmers used to notice goats eating some sort of plant and later on have a usual erection. This flowering shrub native to China has been widely known for its effects on libido and has been used for thousands of years as a traditional Chinese medicine to treat fatigue and low libido. Nowadays, though it comes in rather a different shape than it used to, horny goat weed is taken as an aphrodisiac. Consumers of this herb claim to have a boosted drive and an increase in the quality and duration of their erections.
